The present invention relates to a black-lip pearl oyster egg extract, to a black-lip pearl oyster egg extract-specific polyclonal antibody, and to a method for assessing the productive effort of a black-lip pearl oyster using the antibody. According to the method of the present invention, the productive effort of a black-lip pearl oyster can be quantized in an easy and accurate manner, which therefore provides significant information useful for studying the life of a black-lip pearl oyster, and enables the effective management of a black-lip pearl oyster.
