Method and system for determining a behavioural profile of Internet users

The method involves partitioning lexical data relative to interest web sites (301-304) of an interest web site assembly (300) accessible by a communication network i.e. internet, into classes using a lexical analyzing module (101). A list of user words relative to navigation of a user i.e. internet user, on the interest sites is constituted by a traffic analyzing system (103). The list of user words is projected on the classes for prioritizing the classes along their importance in the list of user words. An independent claim is also included for a system for determining a profile of a user of a communication network.
