A service priority update indication method and service priority update method and apparatus are provided by the implementation of the invention. The indication method includes that a priority management function entity receives an update request message of the service priority, which is transmitted from a user and includes a service type identifier and a priority update indication identifier corresponding to the service type identifier; the priority management function entity transmits an update indication message of the service priority to network side according to the update request message, wherein the update indication message is used for indicating that the network side processes the service corresponding to the service type identifier according to the priority level corresponding to the priority update indication identifier. The implementation of the invention realizes the priority control to user's various services in the emergency and files a new requirement, i.e. simultaneously improving some kind, several kinds or all of the user's services, to the function entity for policy and charging in the network, thus maybe simultaneously relating to the session with respect to several application function entities and improving the service QoS.
