The method involves associating a sub-tree of multimedia objects e.g. clip-art, to be restored and a standby sub-tree (26) with a scene description tree (20), where the former sub-tree comprises objects intended to be restored at a given instant, and the latter sub-tree comprises objects intended not to be restored at the given instance. One of the objects, that is transferred from one of the sub-trees to the other sub-tree as a function of a predetermined transfer condition, is identified. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program product comprising program code instructions for implementing a multimedia scene creating method (2) a method of restoring a multimedia scene on a mobile radio communication terminal (3) a computer program product comprising program code instructions for implementing a multimedia scene restoring method (4) a description signal of a multimedia scene comprising a set of multimedia objects organized in the form of a scene description tree.
