The invention relates to methods for controlling the rotational speed of the shafts of actuating mechanisms. The device according to the invention comprises a stator mounted on an input shaft and electrically connected to a power transmission device, a rotor mounted on an output shaft and rotating in a bearing, a pulse width modulation control device for controlling circuit breakers, which in turn controlling the power supplied to the frequency of the stator windings, a frequency divider for dividing the frequency supplied from a reference generator, a series resistor eliminating bypass to measure the voltage proportional to a load current in the stator windings, a voltage controlled generator for changing the output frequency according to US Pat Bypass voltage and optocoupler units provided with a receiver and a rotatable slotted disc mounted therebetween. The frequency division factor is defined by means of a code which is transmitted to the frequency divider by a computer for calculating the frequency. The technical result is to increase reliability, extend the setting range of the transmission ratio of a continuously variable transmission, and improve the control of the changing device.
