OLFACTORY RECEPTOR-FUNCTIONALIZED TRANSISTORS FOR A HIGHLY SELECTIVE BIOELECTRONIC NOSE AND A BIOSENSOR USING THE SAME, CAPABLE OF IMPLEMENTING VARIOUS SENSOR ARRAYS
PURPOSE: An olfactory receptor-functionalized transistors for a highly selective bioelectronic nose and a biosensor using the same are provided to implement remarkably improved selectivity and sensitivity by using a nanostructure transistor as an odorant receptor.;CONSTITUTION: In a olfactory receptor-functionalized transistors for a highly selective bioelectronic nose and a biosensor using the same, a source electrode and a drain electrode are separated from each other on a substrate. A nanostructure electrically is contacted with the source electrode and drain electrode, and a thin film having an olfactory receptor protein covers the surface of the source electrode and the drain electrode and nanostructure surface. The olfactory receptor protein includes a cysteine residue, and the olfactory receptor protein is changed from a neutral acid form to a negatively-charged base form when being combined with a specific odor material(17).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
