SYSTEM AND METHOD TO PREVENT THE IMPINGEMENT OF MARINEORGANISMS AT THE INTAKE OF POWER PLANTS

PURPOSE: An apparatus for preventing and monitoring a flow of a marine life in a water intake of an atomic power plant is provided to prevent overload of a water intake in advance by detecting a speed change of seawater and a tension change of a second protecting net or a capture net. CONSTITUTION: A first protecting net(10) is installed in an entrance of a water intake(200) in order to primarily block a flow of marine life and marine garbage. A second protecting net(20) is installed inside the water intake in order to remove the marine lift and the marine garbage passing the first protecting net. A capture net(30) is installed in an exit of the water intake in order to finally capture the marine lift and the marine garbage passing the second protecting net. An inducing net(12) is installed in both sides of the first protecting net in order to induce the marine life into a different direction of the water intake. An air nozzle(14) is installed on a floor of the first protecting net in order to prevent access of the marine life.
