PURPOSE: An automatic position correction system and a method thereof of a speed dome camera for automatically correcting control error are provided to accurately correct the location value of a camera by detecting the sensor.;CONSTITUTION: An automatic position correction system and a method thereof of a speed dome camera for automatically correcting control error include an X-axis sensor module, a Y-axis sensor module, an X-axis motor driving unit(46) and a Y-axis motor driving unit(42). The X-axis sensor module detects the circulation variation amount according to the rotation of X-axis.
