NOVEL PEPTIDE WHICH INCREASES mRNA OR PROTEIN EXPRESSION OF BDNF IN CEREBRAL CORTEX TISSUE, HIPPOCAMPUS NEURAL CELL, AND HIPPOCAMPUS TISSUE

PURPOSE: A novel peptide is provided to increase mRNA and protein expression of BDNF(Brain-derived neurotrophic factor) in hippocampus, prevent and treat nervous disease.;CONSTITUTION: A peptide comprising an amino acid of the sequence number 1 increases BDNF(Brain-derived neurotrophic factor) mRNA and protein expression in hippocampus nerve cell, hippocampus tissue and cerebral cortex tissue. The hippocampus nerve cell is HT22 cell line of mouse or H19-7 cell line of rat. A pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating Alzheimer disease, Parkinson's disease, chronic depression, stroke, or diabetic neuropathy contains therapeutically effective amount of peptide. The therapeutically effective amount of peptide is 0.1 μg/kg-10 μg/kg a day.
