PURPOSE: A fiber-optic sensor system using double pass Mach-Zehnder interferometer is provided to detect physical variation amount applied on a fiber optic line of a Michelson interferometer by utilizing the standard trigger signals of 90 degree phase difference.;CONSTITUTION: A fiber-optic sensor system using double pass Mach-Zehnder interferometer comprises a Mach-Zender interferometer, a Michelson interferometer, an optical detecting part, and an operation unit. The Mach-Zender interferometer is made of a first arm(130) and a second arm(140). In the first arm, a polarization control part(105) is mounted. The polarization control part controls the polarized light of the light source between a first optical fiber coupler(101) and a second optical fiber coupler(103). In the second arm, a phase modulation part(107) is mounted. The phase modulation part performs phase modulation based on external signals between the first optical fiber coupler and the second optical fiber coupler. The Michelson interferometer comprises a fiber combiner. The optical detecting part is made of a first optical detector(121) and a second optical detector(123).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
