PURPOSE: A method for producing a nanoparticle containing water-soluble Korean barberry extract is provided to release the extract in a specific rate and control cytotoxicty. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing a nanoparticle containing water-soluble Korean barberry extract with high density of gelatin comprises: a step of extracting Korean barberry, filtering, concentrating, and drying to obtain powder; a step of dissolving the powder in water-soluble solvent; a step of dissolving 0.05-0.2 weight% of gelatin of the extract using distilled water at 40C; a step of drying at 20~60C to obtain liposomes; a step of adding Korean barberry extract to the gelatin of liposome form; and a step of homogenizing at 30~40C for 50-60 minutes with sonicator.
