PURPOSE: A measuring system for specifications of a moving metal plate and a measuring method thereof are provided to obtain the exact shape information of a metal plate by analyzing the image after photographing a metal plate by sampling time.;CONSTITUTION: A measuring system(100) for specifications of a moving metal plate is provided to a laser emitting unit, a camera unit(300), a speed measuring unit(600), and a data processing unit(400). The laser emitting unit perpendicularly irradiates the laser beam to the upper part of a metal plate. The laser emitting unit generates one laser reflection line to the metal plate moving longitudinally to the width direction. The camera unit has at least one camera and generates image information by photographing a metal plate by sampling time. The speed measuring unit measures the moving speed of the metal plate. The data processing unit generates the specifications and shape information of a metal plate by analyzing the pixel more than the basic brightness of the sampling image information by sampling time.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
