PURPOSE: A motor for an electric power steering is provided to improve reliability of a product by preventing separation of a balancer.;CONSTITUTION: A motor for an electric power steering includes a housing, a bracket, a rotary shaft, a rotor, a stator, and a balancer. The housing(110) and the bracket(120) are coupled. One side and the other side of the rotary shaft(140) are supported to the housing side and the bracket side. The rotary shaft is connected to a steering shaft side of a vehicle. The rotor(150) has a yoke(151) coupled in the rotary shaft and a magnet(155) coupled in the yoke. The rotor is integrally rotated with the rotary shaft. The stator(160) is coupled in the housing, and rotates the rotor through interaction with the rotor. The balancer(170) is coupled in the rotary shaft, and corrects mass unbalance of the rotor.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
