摘要

PURPOSE: A method for producing a low molecular beta-glucan through irradiation is provided to reduce viscosity by cutting of beta-glucan structure and enhance solubility. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing a low molecular beta-glucan with enhanced immunity comprise: a step of dissolving the beta-glucan with solvent; a step of irradiating at 30~50 KGy; and a step of collecting the low molecular beta-glucan. The method further comprises a step of drying the dissolved material. The irradiation is X-ray.
