PURPOSE: A ballast water distributed processing system is provided to disinfect the ballast water within the ballast tank while a ship runs, thereby processing the ballast water with a disinfection device having much smaller processing capacity for a relatively long time.;CONSTITUTION: A ballast water processing unit(100) comprises a disinfection unit(110), a disinfection residue detector(120), a device controller(130), and a communications unit(140). The disinfection unit disinfects the ballast water flowing in from the ballast water tank of a ship and discharges the disinfected ballast water to the ballast water tank. The disinfection residue detector detects the density of the disinfection residue within the ballast water. The device controller controls the disinfection unit to keep the detected disinfection residue into an amount set in advance.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
