PURPOSE: A display device equipped with a touch screen function, a touch position detecting method using the same, and a plasma display device thereof are provided to reduce cost by implement the touch screen function with light generated from an optical mechanism.;CONSTITUTION: A first area of a display panel(100) includes a plurality of display cells for displaying an image. A second area includes a plurality of light emitting cells generating light different from the image while surrounding a part of the first area. A pair of cameras(C1,C2) are arranged around or near a display panel. The cameras are aligned to different crosswise directions crossing the display panel. The cameras are oriented to detect light output from the light emitting cell. An infrared blocking filter(130) is arranged at the front of a display area(P). An infrared passing filter(150) for selectively passing an infrared range is arranged at the front of camera.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
