BUS DESTINATION DISPLAY APPARATUS, CAPABLE OF IMPROVING THE VISIBILITY OF A DESTINATION BOARD IN NIGHT DRIVING

PURPOSE: A bus destination display apparatus is provided to improve the visibility of a destination board in night driving by using LED elements having optical efficiency.;CONSTITUTION: A housing(100) with a square frame shape accepts components of the bus destination display apparatus. A destination board(200) is combined with the first side of the inner part of the housing. A light guide plate(300) is apart from one side of the destination board. The light guide plate changes the light having the optical distribution of a point light source form into the light having the optical distribution of a surface light source form. A light emitting diode unit(400) is installed on both sides of the light guide plate. The light emitting diode unit comprises an LED element(410) and a printed circuit board(420). A controller(500) controls the operation of the light emitting diode unit. A light source socket(600) accepts the light guide plate and the light emitting diode unit.
