PURPOSE: A vacuum cleaner is provided to obtain large volume of a dust storage part by forming a dust discharge part on the upper end of a cyclone part, so that the discharged dust falls downward.;CONSTITUTION: A vacuum cleaner(1) comprises a cyclone part(110), an air suction part, a filter element, a dust discharge part, and a dust collecting vessel(130). The cyclone part separates dust from the air. The air suction part sucks the air to the cyclone part. The filter element filters the dust in the air. The dust discharge part is formed at the other side of the cyclone part. The dust discharge part discharges the dust separated from the air. The dust discharge part is formed at the location higher than the center of the cyclone part. The dust is stored in the dust collecting vessel. A guide surface is formed in the dust collecting vessel. The guide surface guides the dust discharged from the discharge part.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
