摘要

PURPOSE: A volatile organic compound sensor using a high-sensitivity non-electrode UV(Ultraviolet) lamp is provided to protect health of a worker by measuring concentration of toxic gas at a lower concentration of ppb(parts per billion) or ppm(parts per million) unit.;CONSTITUTION: A sensing unit(11) includes a photoionization reaction unit and a current measurement unit. A UV lamp(10) emits UV by a low frequency RF(Radio Frequency) magnetic field. The UV lamp includes a lamp housing(12) having an opened upper side. The housing is filled with mixture of argon, hydrogen, and nitrogen gas. An electrode(14) for applying a low frequency RF is arranged to a side of the lamp housing.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
