PURPOSE: An absolute angle calculating method of a motor rotation body is provided to remove an encoder when calculating the absolute angle of the motor rotation body, thereby reducing the manufacturing cost of motor driven power steering.;CONSTITUTION: An absolute angle of a motor rotation body is measured by using a hall sensor(S12). The angular velocity of motor rotation is calculated by using a signal which is received from a motor location sensor(S14). The steering angle speed is calculated by using a signal which is received from a steering angle sensor(S16). An absolute angle of the motor rotation body is calculated(S18). A motor is controlled by using the detected location of the motor rotation body(S22).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
