PURPOSE: A form recognition device, a method, a database writing device, a method, and a recording medium are provided to widely match information for recognizing written contents with forms, without registering the information on individual forms with different designs.;CONSTITUTION: A table structure interpreter(14) interprets a table. A keyword extractor(17) extracts a character string, which is information for recognizing classification of forms, as a keyword. A form classification deciding unit(18) decides on the classification of the forms through the extracted keyword. A table structure interpreter(non rule)(19) interprets a structure of the table.
