Sort and filter processing method in the spatial domain by averaging the combination

A method for filtering by sorting and mean operation in a spatial domain is provided to relieve various noises related to block effects or communication signals generated in a compression process by assigning different weights to remaining pixels that are removed from overall pixels in a mask. Overall pixels are arranged in the order of pixel values(S10). When the pixel value of central pixel in a mask is not identical to the pixel value for the pixels having a middle value among arranged pixel values, some pixel values are removed from the both ends of the arranged pixel values(S20,S30). The average calculation for the pixel values of the remaining pixels is performed(S40).
