A method of construction for hardening the ground comprises: a first step of operating a crane in order to lift a hydraulic hammer device mounted on a support higher than the ground surface; a second step of moving a wheel driven with a carter pillar to the place where the compaction work is be performed; a third step of adhering a compaction plate in the hydraulic hammer device closely to the ground surface; a fourth step of operating the hydraulic hammer device in order to lift a weight unit to the ground surface; and a fifth step of dropping a risen weight unit in order to deliver a shock energy to the compaction plate.
