PURPOSE: A monitor elevating device and a control method thereof are provided to secure the wide work space by automatically exposing a monitor toward the upper part of a desk by an elevation means.;CONSTITUTION: A monitor elevating device(100) comprises a support plate(110), an elevating member(130), an elevation means(140), a slope confirming member(150). A monitor(20) is set in the support plate. The elevating member is hinge-coupled with the support plate. The elevation means makes the elevating member elevated in a predetermined height. The slope confirming member is installed in the front of the elevating member to detect the slope of the monitor, and controls the elevating operation of the elevation means.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
