摘要

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a polarizer is provided to prevent cutting and fringe during continuous lamination process of a transparent supporting body and a polarizer, by using a transparent supporting body thinner than the prior one.;CONSTITUTION: A polarizer(100) is formed with a polyvinyl alcohol(PVA) resin film. A transparent supporting body(300) is formed on only one of the top or the bottom of the polarizer. The polarizer is formed by bonding the transparent supporting body by using an adhesive(200) on both sides of the polarizer. The thickness of a base film of the polarizer is 40 - 75 um. The adhesive bonds the polarizer and the transparent supporting body. The adhesive is formed with a PVA adhesive. The transparent supporting body is attached to the top and bottom of the polarizer. The transparent supporting body is formed with a film protecting the polarizer. The transparent supporting body is formed with a polymer with good transparency, mechanical strength, thermal stability and moisture shielding property.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
