PURPOSE: A CDN(Contents Delivery Network) service and a method for transmitting contents in the CDN service are provided to supply stream contents for a user and increase a security for supplying protection contents of an edge node for an authenticated user. CONSTITUTION: Contents requesting signal transmitted in a user terminal is received in a contents supply server(S310). A URL of an edge server accessed to the user terminal from the received contents requesting signal is judged(S311-S316). A response message corresponded to the contents requesting signal for transmitting a signal for requesting contents to the judged edge contents is transmitted to the user terminal(S317). Contents requesting signal is transmitted to the edge server from the user terminal in accordance with information included in the response message(S318). The edge server recognizes contents information included in the received contents requesting signal and information of the user terminal, supplies the recognized contents information to the user terminal, receives a response signal in accordance with a contents supply from the user terminal, and responses the signal to the next operation(S323).
