PURPOSE: An apparatus for cultivating a plant for a vinyl house, and its method are provided to reduce the heating cost effectively and to improve the production of plant by controlling the blooming time. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for cultivating a plant for a vinyl house cultivates a plant by emitting the LED light to the plant and comprises a required light amount automatic control unit which measures the intensity and temperature of sunlight shed on a vinyl house, calculates the light irradiation amount by the control of a microcomputer, controls the LED light output to plants according to the calculated result, and irradiates the light by wavelength. THe apparatus inlcudes a sensor part(110), a data input part(120), a MICOM part(130), an output control circuit part(140), and etc.
