PURPOSE: A submerged nozzle centering apparatus is provided to minimize the drift of molten steel resulting from faulty installation of a submerged nozzle.;CONSTITUTION: A submerged nozzle centering apparatus comprises laser beam generators(20) which are arranged in the center of the long and short side of a mold(3) and irradiate laser beam to the exterior of a submerged nozzle(5), centering units(30,40) which are installed on a tundish car(15) included on the top of the mold and move a tundish(1) and the tundish car to center the position of the submerged nozzle, and a controller which determines the length of the laser beam from the laser beam generator and controls the operation of the centering units.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
