PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus of detecting a traffic flooding attack using support vector data description, and a recording medium thereof are provided to ensure stable system operation and service support by performing traffic classification according to an attack type. CONSTITUTION: An MIB(Management Information Base) extractor(310) calculates only MIB objects responding to a real traffic congestion attack. An MIB storage unit(320) collects the information of a management information base according to an update cycle of the predicted MIB. An attack detector(330) analyzes the information of the MIB information base through SVDD(Support Vector Data Description).
