PURPOSE: A method for gateway failure management and a sensor node load balance in sensor network are provided to reduce the situation not monitoring danger situation due to the failure of sensor node and gateway.;CONSTITUTION: A grid control server(20) watches the operation state of multiple gateways(22, 23) belonging to the USN(Ubiquitous Sensor Network). If the failure is detected about the arbitrary gateway, the grid control server commands the bearer channel modification of the sensor node belonging to the failure gateway to the nearby gateway and common node(24).
