ALARM CLOCK AND A METHOD USING AN RAM SLEEP AND A LIGHT, CAPABLE OF MONITORING THE CHANGE OF A USER BODY IN SLEEPING

PURPOSE: An alarm clock and a method using an ram sleep and a light are provided to wake up a user at an optimum time and to make the user more comfortable.;CONSTITUTION: A sensing unit(110) comprises an infrared sensor for measuring the pupil movement of a user. A receiver(210) receives the movement of the pupil of user at short distance through a wireless communication. A memory unit(230) stores the sleep cycle of a user. A processing unit determines REM sleep step based on the movement of pupil. The controller(240) measures an average sleeping hours according to a desired alarm time of the user. The controller determines the optimum condition of the user in the REM sleep nearest to the alarm time. The controller minimizes the disruption of a bio rhythm due to the alarm and light.
