PURPOSE: A refrigerant intake structure for a piston compressor is provided to improve intake efficiency by equalizing refrigerant intake amount on all intake ports.;CONSTITUTION: A refrigerant intake structure for a piston compressor(10) comprises a front housing(13) and a plurality of partitions(33). The front housing is composed of sub/main intake chambers(130,131), and a discharge chamber(132). The discharge chamber is formed in an annular shape surrounding the outer circumference of a main intake chamber. The sub intake chamber is formed in a circular shape surrounding the outer circumference of the discharge chamber. A plurality of partitions are formed at the inner wall of the front housing forming the discharge chamber. A plurality of partitions are expanded to the discharge chamber. An intake path(331) passes through each partition to connect the sub intake chamber and the main intake chamber.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
