PURPOSE: A super-paramagnetic metal oxide nanoparticle of fluorescence is provided to apply to bio-medicine such as cellularlabeling and use as an on-off conversion multifunction imaging probe.;CONSTITUTION: A multi-functional nanoparticle contains a core containing super-paramagnetic metal oxide, polymer coating layer, and organic dye having fluorescence which is able of optical conversion. The diameter of super-paramagnetic metal oxide is 1-25 nm. The diameter of multi-functional nanoparticle is 10-100 nm.
