PURPOSE: A caliper apparatus for a disk brake is provided to simplify the configuration of a brake system and to improve the braking power by additionally applying the pressure according to the inclined direction and the pressure due to the hydraulic pressure load to a disk.;CONSTITUTION: A caliper apparatus for a disk brake is composed of a back plate(45), a brake pad(46), and a disk(50). The back plate is slidably inserted to a carrier(43). The brake pad is attached to the back plate. The back plate and the brake pad are slid by the hydraulic pressure and are pressure-contacted to the disk.
