PURPOSE: An elastic deformation introduced type side tilt lever assembly for a steering system for a vehicle is provided to manufacture a component with a general sand casting by generating the uniform elastic deformation always when rotating a tilt lever by only changing the shape of a column upper plate.;CONSTITUTION: An elastic deformation introduced type side tilt lever assembly for a steering system for a vehicle is composed of a column upper plate outer(2), a column upper plate inner(3), and a deformation inducing part(5). A column tilt bolt and a cam are assembled on the deformation end of one side in the column upper plate inner in the rotation of a tilt lever. The column upper plate inner is extended from the column upper plate outer.
