PURPOSE: A molecular marker which is related to genetic male sterility of paprika is provided to discern homozygote(MsMs) and heterozygote(Msms) of fertility group.;CONSTITUTION: A method for developing codominant molecular marker which is related to GMS(genetic male sterility) used in seed production of paprika comprises: a step of confirming the use of paprika GMS gene and making groups of male fertility and sterility; a step of detecting relating molecular marker through AFLP(amplified fragment length polymorphism) and BSA(bulked segregant analysis); a step of converting with CAPS(cleavage amplified polymorphic sequences); a step of detecting male sterility genotype of paprika with CAPS; and a step of growing novel male sterility genotype.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
