PURPOSE: A nanocomposite based on the cross-linked clay and cable using the same is provided to make suitable sheathings of a cable with a superior heat resistance and to include the nanocomposite in the exterior coating.;CONSTITUTION: A nanocomposite based on the cross-linked clay is composed of an organic compound and a nanoclay. The nanoclay is cross-linked with the metal compound. The metal compound comprises steel or aluminum or the combination of the same. The nanoclay is a phosphor selected in the group cosisting of montmorillonite, laponite, beidellite, nontronite, saponite, sauconite, hectorite, stibnite, kaolinite, hallowsite, vermiculite, sepiolite or a synthetic compound or a layered compound of the same. The organic compound is a polymer selected from a group consisting of polyethylene, polypropylene, silicon and other compounds.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
