METHOD FOR TRANSFORMING A REVERSIBLE COLOR BY USING A CANONICAL SIGNED DIGIT, PARTICULARLY FOR EXTRACTING A COMMON PATTERN FOR ALL COEFFICIENTS CONVERTED INTO CSD NUMBERS

PURPOSE: A method for transforming a reversible color by using a canonical signed digit is provided to improve the speed of a reversible integer color conversion remarkably by applying a CSD(Canonical Signed Digit) system and a common pattern technique to a reversible integer color conversion method.;CONSTITUTION: Each color coefficient is converted into a CSD number(S10), and a common pattern is extracted from the converted coefficient(S20). Through the pre-calculated results, a reversible color transform is performed for the common pattern(S30). Through the CSD number conversion, the number except 0 is minimized. Therefore, the number of additions is reduced. In order to reduce the adder and subtracter of the CSD number, the common pattern technique is adopted.
