METHOD FOR SYNCHRONIZING TIME WITH A FIXED DELAY TIME AND A BRIDGE APPLIED WITH THE SAME, CAPABLE OF IMPROVING THE ACCURACY OF TIME SYNCHRONIZATION

PURPOSE: A method for synchronizing time with a fixed delay time and a bridge applied with the same are provided to improve the accuracy of the time synchronization by maintaining the periodical property of a synchronization packet periodically transmitted from a master.;CONSTITUTION: A master generates a synchronization packet. A bridge between the master and a slave receives the synchronization packet from the master or previous bridge(S300). The bridge classifies the synchronous packet among the inputted packets(S310). The synchronization packet is delayed to the bridge for a preset time. The bridge sets the output time about each synchronization packet(S320). The bridge outputs the synchronization packet earlier than a general data packet according to the output time set to the synchronization packet(S330).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
