PURPOSE: An automatic fire extinguishing device for a vehicle is provided to put out a fire early on by automatically spraying a fire extinguishing powder on a fire and to effectively spray the fire extinguishing powder before a sensor detects a fire.;CONSTITUTION: An automatic fire extinguishing device for a vehicle comprises the following: a temperature sensor(15) installed at an engine room and a fuel tank of the vehicle; a controller(17) outputting an operation signal for a fire extinguisher when a detected temperature from the temperature sensor is greater than a fixed temperature; a fire extinguisher driving unit(19) operating the fire extinguisher using the output of the controller; the fire extinguisher(3) discharging a fire extinguishing powder filled inside to the exterior through a nozzle by the operation of the fire extinguisher driving unit; and a spraying hose line connected to the nozzle(7.9) of the fire extinguisher and extended to connect with the engine room and the fuel tank. A fire-extinguishing switch(11) is additionally installed on the inside of the vehicle to output the operation signal for the fire extinguisher.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
