PURPOSE: An image forming apparatus and a resource saving mode control method are provided to contribute convenience of a user while saving resources used in a work of the image forming apparatus.;CONSTITUTION: An image forming apparatus and a resource saving mode control method include a button unit(110), a storage unit(130), and a controller(120). The button unit is for selecting a resource saving mode. The storage unit stores a preset function applied when selecting a resource saving mode.
