PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and an operation control method thereof are provided to perform an accurate operation for a mobile terminal by discriminating the selected certain region from the rest regions.;CONSTITUTION: A control unit judges the input of a touch signal through a first region(S405). When the touch signal is inputted through the first region, the control unit judges the vibration setting(S410). When the vibration is not set up, the control unit expands the rest region(S420). When the touch signal is inputted through the first region within fixed time, the control unit executes the operation corresponding to the first region(S430,S435).
