PURPOSE: A fluorescent compound is provided to ensure excellent selectivity to Hg and Cu ions, and to be used as a high-sensitivity fluorescent sensor for detecting Hg and Cu ions due to notable fluorescence resonance energy transfer change.;CONSTITUTION: A fluorescent compound with excellent selectivity to Hg2+ and Cu2+ ions has a structure represented by chemical formula (1). A method for preparing the fluorescent compound comprises a step of reacting 1,7-diethylaminocoumarin of chemical formula (3) with N-(2,7-dichlorofluorescein) lactam of chemical formula (4).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
