STS COLD ROLLED WIPER ROLL BY AN ULTRASONIC NANO CRYSTAL SURFACE MODIFICATION TECHNOLOGY WITH IMPROVED FATIGUE LIFE

摘要

PURPOSE: An STS(STainless Steel) cold rolled wiper roll by an ultrasonic nano crystal surface modification technology is provided to reduce the frictional coefficient and abrasion rate during sliding or rolling by reforming the organization of the superficial part to nanocrystalline and enhancing the hardness.;CONSTITUTION: An STS cold rolled wiper roll by an ultrasonic nano crystal surface modification technology has more than 1000 dimples(a) per 1mm^2 on the surface thereof. The surface hardness(b) of the cold rolled wiper roll is over Hv800 and the residual compression stress(c) is over -600MPa.
