PURPOSE: A device for separating a packing material of a bookbinding spring is provided to reduce time to separate the packing material of a bookbinding spring by accurately separating a packing material and the bookbinding spring and supplying the bookbinding spring to a bookbinding device.;CONSTITUTION: A device for separating a packing material of a bookbinding spring comprises a first guide roll(10), a second guide roll(20), a separation pin(30), a cutting edge, a collection guide roll(40), and a packing material winding roll(50). The first guide roll guides a bookbinding spring whose outer circumference is packed with a packing material of a synthetic resin material. The second guide roll guides the bookbinding spring supplied from the first guide roll. The separation pin is inserted inside the bookbinding spring which is supplied from the second guide roll. The cutting edge is installed to be detached through a fixing unit formed beneath the separation pin. The collection guide roll collects the packing material cut by the cutting edge.
