PURPOSE: An apparatus for pre-processing ore used in a blast furnace and a pre-processing method thereof are provided to increase a moisture content in ore, and to smoothly supply the ore without shute clogging.;CONSTITUTION: A pre-processing method for ore used in a blast furnace includes the following steps: supplying raw materials and dry ice to a mixing part(S130); absorbing moisture contained in the air to the raw materials by sublimation of the dry ice mixed in the supplied raw materials(S140); and adding moisture to the raw materials(S150).
