PURPOSE: A flat panel display device is provided to fix a flat display panel to a chassis member by applying a pressure to the panel in the edge part of the circumference of a protection sheet.;CONSTITUTION: A protection sheet(17) is attached by using a transparent adhesive on the surface of a flat display panel. A chassis member(2) supports the flat display panel through an elastic sheet(14). The elastic sheet is formed by a blowing agent. An optical filter(17) is adhered to the display side of a panel(3).
