METHOD FOR ADAPTING LAYERED CODING TECHNIQUE IN NEXT GENERATION WIRELESS NETWORK AND TRANSMITTING REAL-TIME DATA USING RTPS SERVICE FLOW

PURPOSE: A method for adapting a layered coding technique in a next generation wireless network and transmitting real-time data using a rtPS(real-time Polling Service) flow are provided to define a new artPS(advanced real-time Polling Service) class to support an rtPS(real-time Polling Service) using a layered coding technique. CONSTITUTION: In a wireless communications system, QoS(Quality of Service) parameter values of a base layer and a enhancement layer are differently set through layered coding. Bit streams of the base layer and the enhancement layer are distinguished. The wireless communication system transmits the bit stream using an rtPS flow. The wireless communication system treats at least two rtPS classes, including the base layer and the enhancement layer, as one class.
