PURPOSE: A rotary cylinder for a compressor using carbon dioxide as refrigerant is provided to improve the sealing performance by an oil film and prevent the abrasion of the parts, thereby improving reliability and compression efficiency.;CONSTITUTION: A rotary compressor comprises a cylinder(100) which includes a compression chamber(110) accommodating a roller, an inlet(130) supplying a fluid to the compression chamber, and a vane groove(170) in which a vane dividing the compression chamber into intake and discharge sections is received. An extension groove with open top and bottom is formed on the exit side of the inlet.
