PURPOSE: A three-dimensional face recognition security method and an apparatus therefor are provided to three-dimensionally scan a face of a person who enters/exits, thereby improving a rate of recognizing a person who enters/exits.;CONSTITUTION: A three dimensional data generator(210) generates three dimensional a face of a person who enters/exits. A feature point extractor(220) extracts a feature point of a face from three dimensional face data registered in a database and the three dimensional face data. A data matching unit(230) generates matching data by matching two three dimensional data. A similarity calculation unit(240) calculates similarity between two 3D data. A visitor authenticator(250) determines the person who enters/exits is a registered person or a non-registered person by comparing the similarity with a threshold value.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
